White Water Rafting

Be a pioneer on a unique Canadian Adventure in Ontario’s only RiverBug Raft Ride.
Escorted by a Trip Guide, you will captain your own one-man whitewater RiverBug Raft through a variety of rapids, under bridges, over or past waterfalls and around islands on one of two scenic trips in the Grand River - from Confederation Park in Fergus to Aboyne, and from the iconic “Tooth of Time” waterfall by the Elora Mill into the Gorge.

    • Included: River Bug Raft, Helmet, Personal Flotation Device, Swim-fins, Webbed Gloves, One Safety Guide for Every Seven Rafters, Secure Storage for Personal Items.
    • Upgrade Options: E-bikes, Go-Pro and Wet-Suit rentals.
    • Eligibility: Must be a minimum of 4 ft in height and over 8 years old, able to swim and in good health.
    • Items to Bring: photo identification, signed liability waiver and emergency contact information

Tours may vary in length but usually last 3 to 4 hours. The minimum age of participants is 8 years old. Ability to swim is a requirement.
RiverBug White Water Rafting to Aboyne

12 spaces for each time-slot. Tours on Saturdays & Sundays in May, June, September & October and also on Wednesdays & Fridays in July & August. Rafting participants must meet at Bissell Park at 9:30 am & 2:00 pm for registration and equipment fitting. Walk-up registration available at the Boardwalk office. Tours may vary in length but usually last 3 to 4 hours. The minimum age of participants is 10 years old. Ability to swim is a requirement.

RiverBug Whitewater Rafting in Elora Gorge

12 spaces for each time-slot. Tours on Saturdays & Sundays in May, June, September & October and also on Tuesdays & Thursdays in July & August. Rafting participants must meet at the Elora District Community Centre & Arena in Elora (see Locations on the bottom of the Home Page of our website) at 9:00 am & 2:00 pm for registration and equipment fitting. Tours may vary in length but usually last 2 to 3 hours. The minimum age of participants is 8 years old. Ability to swim is a requirement. N.B. customers will be bicycling one half hour from the take-out site in the Elora Gorge Conservation Area to the pre-trip meeting site at the Elora District Community Centre & Arena on provided bikes accompanied by a guide unless otherwise arranged with us.
