Take a guided Raft Ride in the Elora Gorge to the base of Elora's iconic Tooth of Time waterfalls by the Elora Mill & Spa. Learn about the creation of the Elora Gorge 400 million years ago south of the equator, the legend of the Attawanderon Maid who leapt to her death from Lover's Leap, the Iroquois who defeated the local Neutral Nation and brought lacrosse to Canada, early settlers like Captain William Gilkinson, the scottish founder of Elora in 1832, and David Boyle, Canada's first professional archaeologist. Tours are available each half hour and you can pre-book them online, purchase tickets at our Boardwalk office or buy walk-up tickets at our Maid of the Falls' boat station in the Cove.
